  1. Q: How do I use this key generator to register my copy of WinRAR?
  2.  
  3. A: Unzip the file "wrar-k.com" to any directory and double click
  4.    on it.  You'll get a DOS screen asking you to type in a name that
  5.    is at least 5 characters long.  You can type in anything you like
  6.    but don't go beyond about 28 characters since most key generators
  7.    are not programmed to handle more than this.  When you're satisfied
  8.    with what you've typed on the screen, hit the ENTER key and a code
  9.    will be generated in the DOS window.  Copy it down EXACTLY as it
  10.    appears.  Now close the DOS window.  Run the WinRAR program.  From
  11.    the main menu (above the button bar) click on OPTIONS, then click
  12.    on REGISTRATION from the drop down menu that appears.  This will
  13.    prompt a Windows screen with two edit boxes.  The first is labeled
  14.    "Enter your registration (AV) text" ---> Type in the name you used
  15.    with the key gen (the one you typed into the DOS screen).  The next
  16.    box is labeled "Enter your registration code" ---> Type in the code
  17.    that was generated by the key gen (the one you were supposed to copy
  18.    down).  When finished, just hit the OK button and the program should
  19.    register itself.
